FINE FOOD BUSINESS FORUM is a business event bringing together Catalan fine food producers and exporters with importers and distributers from third countries.

With a turnover of some EUR 7.700 million, the fine food industry comprises one of Catalonia’s main agrifood sectors. In the agrifood sector it accounts for 29,60% of turnover, 39,43% of employment and 44% of companies.
With regard to exports, fine food is the second biggest sector with EUR 2.7 billion, which amounts to 27% of exports. The main categories in this sector are: bread and pastry products (10.21%); cocoa and cocoa-based products (9.35%); cereal-based products (8.41%); coffee (7.9%); extracts, essences and concentrates (6.96%); confectionary (6.39%); dairy products (4.54%); vegetable juices (3.39%); jams and marmalades (3.05%); prepared products for soups (2.96%); beer (2.87%), and fruits juices (2.5%).
